I stayed in their new loft style villa, and everything was brand new. It was so quiet and peaceful, with a view over the river, and I had one of the best nights of sleep I can remember. The staff were friendly and ready to help, too. A real hidden gem, especially if you’re after a quiet place.

The infinity pool and delicious breakfast were the highlights for us. Our stay at Kaweda was amazing, with a beautiful jungle view from our river. It was easy to get a local taxi into ubud, and the location worked well for seeing the sights around the Ubud area. After a busy day out, it was the perfect place to return to. We’ll be back.

The villas are beautifully furnished, and the comfortable beds have plenty of privacy thanks to the lush vegetation between them. It gives the place an intimate feel. The hotel has stunning views and sits in a peaceful area away from the noise.

Getting a Grab or Gojek here can be a bit difficult, though the hotel staff can help arrange a local taxi. It’s far from Ubud city center, which suited me for a relaxing break. The staff are incredibly kind, the food tastes good, the infinity pool has an outstanding view, and the massage felt so good.

There are two pools to choose from, but my favorite was relaxing by the pool after a lovely massage at the spa pavilion. Our wooden villa had a traditional feel, and soaking in its outdoor bathtub at sunset while listening to nature was magical. Right beside the river, the resort was a peaceful escape from Ubud’s craziness. A perfect retreat for couples, highly recommended.
