The surroundings are pretty, and the pool was nice to use, so this place had potential. But the upkeep let it down. Our room felt gloomy, and the AC leaked. The owner called someone to fix it, but it only held for a day before leaking again. The shower was frustrating too, with such low water pressure that it took ages. We stayed almost a week. My husband ended up showering in the pool because, as he put it, “It’s quicker and refreshing.” I skipped washing my hair the whole time, since with my thick hair it would have taken forever there 🥲

The basic room worked fine for me, and breakfast was different every day. The pool is about 4 by 6 meters and kept in great shape, though it could use steps to make getting in easier for older people. The place is surrounded by nature, with trees, butterflies, and lots more to enjoy. The people running the homestead are the nicest staff I've ever met. They helped with a smile every day, for the whole time I stayed. The family living beside the Bungalows were lovely too. Go take a look and enjoy yourself.

A nice spot surrounded by nature, just a few minutes' walk from town and the market. The owner and staff were friendly enough. Our room was basic, but the fan suited us. There's a large, deep, clean pool, and being able to use the fridge was a bonus.

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked the location best: quiet, but an easy walk to both the main tourist area around Ubud palace and the rice fields north of the village. The two-story bungalows sit around a large, clean pool overlooking a lush green valley. The rooms were reasonably clean and fine overall, though they could use some renovation, especially the bathrooms. I'd stay there again.

Nice pool and gardens, with lovely sounds from nature and the river. The staff were nice too. But the rooms weren't pleasant, and the bathrooms felt uninviting. Breakfast was average. It felt like an Indian guesthouse. If comfort, luxury, or logic matter to you, don't stay here.
