A beautiful place to relax, with well looked after villas, a lovely pool, and an amazing spa service. We found the on-site playground useful with the kids. It’s away from central Ubud’s hustle and bustle, but close enough to get there when needed, so it worked really well for our family.

We stayed for a month with our two kids, ages 3 & 1, and extended twice because we loved it. The staff were incredibly kind to all of us. Having a pool and playground made it easy to have a relaxed day with the kids, and the food was great when we wanted to eat in. It was an amazing experience in calmer, rural Bali. It’s a good 25 min scooter ride to Ubud, and a car can take that long or longer depending on traffic and the time of day. We rented a scooter, so getting into town a couple times a week was fine and a fun adventure. It’s something to consider, though. We’d stay again even with the extra driving.

We loved the area and the staff’s hospitality, plus the huge swimming pool and playground for kids. We extended our stay many times. One of the best places in Ubud for staying with children!

We had four nights here with our two young boys, and the spacious, beautiful villas and peaceful setting were just right. I’m glad we didn’t book nearer town, which is 20-30 min away depending on traffic. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The playground is fantastic, and it’s right by the dining area, so you can have a meal or drink while the kids play. The food was incredible too. We hope to come back!

The complimentary breakfast at Kampung Uma Dawa was excellent, and the lunch and dinner options were delicious too. Our clean, comfortable rooms had plenty of space for several people. It was an amazing experience.
