Kubu Tropis

Kubu Tropis had a peaceful atmosphere, welcoming staff, and a comfortable feel throughout. Everyone was helpful and made me feel at home, and I really enjoyed my stay. A couple of small things could make a longer visit even better. Breakfast was good, but a wider selection of fruit, more continental choices, or fresh bakery items would add variety for guests staying several days. The place was generally clean and well kept, though more regular checks on room equipment, bathroom fittings, and lights would help keep everything in great condition. I had a lovely stay despite those small suggestions, and would happily return. Thanks to the whole team for making the visit memorable.

The staff were kind and helpful, especially when arranging tours and a taxi, and the pool was very nice. We only stayed two days and didn’t get to try breakfast because of the timing. I also wasn’t too keen on the choices they had. The hotel was cute and the room clean, but the building didn’t quite match the photos on booking. It was cute, just nothing special like the pictures suggested, and felt old and not very well cared for. Thank you to the helpful staff!

Kubu Tropis has a peaceful feel, with a clean, comfortable villa and tropical surroundings that make it easy to relax. A lovely spot for a calm getaway. Highly recommended!

We picked this place expecting quiet, since it was meant to be away from the main road. It turned out to be the opposite. Animals started fighting loudly outside in the middle of the night. Staff did nothing, and guests had to go out and make noise to stop it. At 6 a.m. someone knocked to ask me to move my car for a truck, although I’d specifically asked where to park. Before 8 a.m., doors were constantly being opened, closed, and slammed. I couldn’t tell if it was staff or guests leaving, but it was extremely annoying. The walls are very thin, so you hear nearly everything from inside and outside. The room also got damp overnight, even with the AC on the whole time. By any reasonable standard, this isn’t a hotel. It was a very unpleasant stay, and I’m not amused at all.
