The room's layout was thoughtfully planned, and it was very clean, comfortable, and enjoyable to stay in. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. A lovely resort for a relaxing visit.

The peaceful surroundings and beautiful view made this a great sanctuary for anyone looking for quiet and healing. All the staff were helpful, and their smiles felt genuinely warm. We only stayed two nights, but it left a strong impression and we enjoyed it a lot. The owner greeted us warmly too. We'll definitely return. Keep up the good work, everyone at Lawangkala.

I stayed three nights with the place almost to myself, which gave me an incredible chance to recharge. As the final renovation touches and management strategy continue to develop, that kind of quiet may be possible for other guests too. Check rates online and ask the team to match them if you book directly. Ubud center is an easy 15-minute ride away. Lawangkala is a real hidden gem. The nature is serene, sacred, and well cared for, and the architecture fits beautifully into the valley. The infinity pool above the running river has especially stunning views. I've stayed at many lovely places in Bali, but this remains one of my top choices to return to. I tried both room categories. Both had exceptional comforts and amenities. The upstairs rooms are great for sunsets and mountain views, while the lower ones feel more secluded, with soothing water sounds. The whole staff is kind and thoughtful and made me feel at home. The service was extraordinary, and all the employees were super nice. The hotel is brand new and very clean, and I had a good stay overall. It's a little outside Ubud center, about 15-20 minutes by scooter. There are a few things that need work. Gaps around the bedroom doors let in outside noise, like breakfast prep, the fountain, and people talking, as well as light. A small glass window in the ceiling brings in strong morning light and can't be covered. Rain on it is also quite loud. The road to the hotel is in very bad shape, and not every car can get through. There are two pools, but the one by the restaurant doesn't have chairs or beds yet. If you want to sunbathe or use the pool by the river, you have to put your towel on the ground. A good experience, with a few improvements still needed.
