The staff were friendly and helped us book a Mount Batur trekking tour for much less than the tourist companies or websites were charging. There’s a bar downstairs that wasn’t too crowded, so it worked well for hanging out with friends. The showers were very narrow, though, and it was hard to hang up clothes or bring soap, shampoo, and shower gel in with you.

We got help from the friendly hostel staff booking a Mount Batur trek, at a price much lower than tourist companies or websites. There’s also a downstairs bar that wasn’t too packed, a nice spot to hang out with friends.

Clean, central, and really affordable, with air conditioning and hot showers. The hostel was beautiful and close to everything, and the staff were so nice and tried to make our stay perfect. They managed it. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend it!

Such a good deal. The place was clean, comfortable, well located, and the staff were friendly. It was quiet too, with no noisy, drunk backpackers stumbling in during the night. I’d happily pay twice as much for somewhere like this. Loved it! =)

It was too hot to sleep because the AC didn’t work. The staff were basically nowhere to be found, and the showers were clogged, with only curtains and nowhere to hang anything. In the morning, other guests rudely opened the blinds.
