My first time staying here, and it worked really well for me as a solo traveler. The room is small, so I wouldn't plan to spend much time in it. I just wanted somewhere to rest between being out and relaxing, and the location and price suited that perfectly. You're right in the center, with Main Street a short walk away. The hosts are warm and clearly care about the place. The rooms have local design touches but feel new, attractive, and comfortable. The AC cools things down in just a few minutes. Road noise and bikes are audible, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to sound. It didn't bother me. I'd recommend it for solo travel 🙏🏻

The owner was wonderful. He volunteers in a lead role in the local temple dance/play every Wednesday and Friday, and it's absolutely worth seeing! The stay itself was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well located. Breakfast was tasty, with a nice view of the garden, and the value for money was amazing.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious: fruit, coffee or tea, and pancakes. The place is nicely located near central Ubud, about a 10-minute walk or 2 minutes by scooter. They also picked us up from the airport at 23:00 for 400.000IDR.

Masna and Tutnik planned trips for us, arranged laundry, and looked after us in so many thoughtful ways. Masna is a very safe, experienced driver. Tutnik even made little toys for our baby from palm fronds. They were easily the best part of our month in Bali. Our infant was welcomed as part of the family, and Gramma took a special liking to the baby, which was incredibly sweet. The room was always sparkling clean, the AC worked very well, and the bed was as comfortable as the one we have at home. It was lovely seeing the women in the family walking around with offerings at all hours. The neighborhood was quiet for Ubud and the neighbors were friendly. The Center is about a 6-10 minute walk away. Masna, Tutnik, and their family made us feel so cared for and welcome.

We came back to Beautiful Masna House after four years, and it still feels like our home away from Maui. This family is so easy to love. The rooms are spotless and well maintained, breakfast is delicious, and guest requests get handled right away. Masna offers tours with "ALOHA SPIRIT" and honest pricing.
