The bathrooms have chunky immersion heaters hanging above the toilet or shower. Having one over my head made me a little nervous, though it’s a small thing and probably won’t bother most people. Breakfast is included, and there are lots of places to eat just a couple of minutes away. The warung down the hill from the hotel was great, definitely check it out for a quick, easy lunch or dinner. The room was lovely, with beautiful rice field views, and the staff were accommodating. It’s less than a 10-minute walk into central Ubud, and the location is great.

I spent four weeks at Alit’s guesthouse while traveling solo for yoga teacher training. Staying among the rice fields was so lovely after time in busy, tourist-filled Ubud, which is only a 10-minute walk away. The setting is gorgeous, the rooms are exceptionally clean, and the pool is a refreshing break from the heat. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and it’s great value. I’ll definitely stay here next time I’m back in Ubud. Thanks again for such a wonderful visit.

Every night on the road back to my place, I saw lots of fireflies, and I got to wake up in nature each day. I stayed in both a ground-floor room and an upper-floor room at Nirwa Karma for 24 days for YTT class. The swimming was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, cozy, clean, and relaxing, and the staff were lovely and kind. Putu was especially helpful, and I’d sometimes ask him where to find local food 🤣 So beautiful, and I feel grateful for everything in my life ❤️ Highly recommend Nirwa Karma for a stay in UBud.

The breakfast was great, and I really enjoyed the dozen of it while sitting by the pool. It’s a very clean and hospitable hotel, with a quiet atmosphere and super nice, friendly staff. There’s no smell of washing powder, which is a bit rare for Bali. For a reasonable price and a great location, this is the best hotel I’ve slept in. Terima kasih banyak!
