You can get into Ubud by Grab for around 6-7 dollars, or rent a scooter right at the property. There are also a few restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The area feels safe for walking in the day and at night, though I’d take a small flashlight after dark. Most locals smile and ask where you’re from, which gives you a nice feel for Balinese life. The staff are very friendly, the food at the on-site restaurant is very good, and the rooms are clean. The bathrooms could use a little more attention, though. I recommend staying here.

We came for dinner tonight while looking for Western food and ended up really impressed. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the chef put together a varied menu with great flavors. That burger was one of the best I've ever eaten. 😊 The place was very clean, and service was quick and attentive. If we were here longer, we'd come back for sure. A genuine five stars from us.

The neighborhood was nice, the room was good, and the staff were lovely. They rent scooters for a good price, which seems like a must if you want to get around. We'd definitely come back.

At about 25 Australian dollars a night, you get a room, a swimming pool, and daily room service, so the price and facilities are really good. The only downside is the distance from central Ubud.
