The staff were very friendly, and the pool was nice. The location is strategic, close to the back entrance of Yoga Barn. For the price, it's great value. There are a few things in the room that could be improved, but nothing that would spoil a holiday.

The location is great, but this felt more like a 1 star stay than a 3 star one. The room doors kept breaking and coming off the hinges, so we couldn't lock the main door. We also ran out of water. When we asked for more, both of us were separately told to get it from the tap. There are a pool and loungers, but only four loungers, and they were usually taken. Service was pretty dire overall. Reception was often empty, and sometimes there seemed to be nobody anywhere on the property. I had to ask the delivery or maintenance guy to contact staff who weren't around. Whether staff were friendly felt like a 50/50 draw. Then, at 8pm, one staff member knocked on our door demanding payment, even though they'd failed to collect it at check-in or could have done so at checkout. Cleanliness was poor too. During our four days, the room wasn't cleaned at all and things like toilet roll weren't replenished. Rubbish and food were left beside the pool all day. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're after a 1 star accommodation.

I often come back to this peaceful guesthouse. There are lots of food options just steps away, and it's a 10 minute walk to Monkey Forest and Yoga Barn. The deluxe rooms are great, and the lush gardens and sparkling clean pool make it a relaxing stay. Good value, with a friendly owner and staff.

The bed is really comfortable, breakfast is good with vegetarian options, and the pool is fantastic for a swim. The owners are always kind and help with whatever you need. It's lovely near yoga and restaurants, with everything within walking distance, and close to the city while still away from the noise and hustle. I've been coming here with friends from Europe for 7 years, and we always feel welcome and safe.
