The breakfast was a treat, especially the banana pancakes, nasi goreng and fruit platters. It came in the morning with a big smile, and we were even invited by our host to a village ceremony. What a lovely moment. This is a homestay, so you meet people who live there and care about keeping the compound friendly and safe. Our villa was very nice, with a private pool that stayed clean, and it was cleaned daily. The location is on the outskirts of Ubud, but still reachable by bike. There are some good restaurants, shops and cafes nearby. I had a great time and would return anytime!

Thank you for having us at Prama House, and I hope we’ll see you again 🩷 The garden is beautiful, the staff are kind and helpful, and the morning breakfasts are tasty and filling. Each comfortable house has its own bathroom, and the beds are huge and super comfortable. It’s also conveniently located within a 10-minute walk of Ubud Market and Campton Walking path. I highly recommend staying here.

The owner, Mr Prama, helped us plan various activities and made our stay more comfortable. Service and breakfast were great, and staff cleaned daily to keep everything tidy. The rooms and pool area are cozy and inviting, a lovely place to hang out. This was hands down the best accommodation I’ve had in Bali. Wow, what a place!

We loved our time at Prama House, staying with Prama and Made on the family compound. The garden and pool are stunning, and our room and bathroom were huge. The beds were so comfortable. When we had a day of heavy rain, I was glad to stay in and enjoy the garden view. Prama was an excellent host, and Made made delicious breakfasts. Walking through the compound lets you glimpse the family’s everyday life, but they’re so friendly that it never feels like you’re intruding. Prama is a guide, too, and you can hire him to drive you around for a day or two. His English is excellent, and he knows so much that you get a real sense of Balinese culture. Ubud proper is about a 25-minute walk, mostly downhill. We walked to the Monkey Forest in around 45 minutes. There are heaps of restaurants nearby. We recommend Cafe Vesper along the road and Cupit BBQ, about a 5-minute walk away. Prama’s family also rents motorbikes right outside. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Wayan and his family made us feel completely at home, doing everything they could to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable. They’re exceptionally kind hosts, and we can’t say enough good things about them. The villa was kept immaculately clean and supplied with all the essentials, and breakfast was tasty, too. We’d happily stay here again!
