Want to see the real Bali and skip the tourist bustle of the cities? Come to Iraq and Kadek! They’ll welcome you warmly and offer a large menu of traditional food. Restaurants, shops and a market are all within walking distance. Bali itself is one big attraction, and this area is no exception, with plenty to see and do, including exotic options. If you’re after a budget stay, this guesthouse is a good choice. The warmth and hospitality are guaranteed. Super, just super!

We came here to get a feel for Balinese culture away from the tourist areas, and staying with Iraq and his family was exactly what we hoped for. We had two wonderful nights, and the village has a beautiful temple and waterfall worth seeing. We spent a day walking around the village and through the rice fields with Iraq. He picked coconuts for us to drink, showed us his Kelikhi art technique, and arranged excursions at very low prices. He’s clearly gifted. The meals and breakfasts were really good, too. We also went to a ceremony together after he took me to get a haircut at his barber. The family lent us clothes and kindly taught us how to make offerings. It was unforgettable. Iraq speaks French as well as English, and he can arrange airport transfers for a very good price. A truly special stay!

The food was excellent, and Irak suggested some fantastic activities around the property. The room was lovely, especially the large bathroom, and Irak and Kadek were so thoughtful and kind. I absolutely loved this family. Thanks for everything!
