I stayed 11 days and already miss Rumah Karda. It has a comfortable, home-like feel, and the place is really clean. The open layout and architecture are great, with everything visible, and it felt much more like a home than a hotel. The location was super handy, right across from a laundry shop and less than a minute's walk from one of the best Warungs/restaurants we've tried. The kitchen had clean plates, spoons, forks, and basic cooking utensils, which isn't always the case in villas near places like Kuta, Seminyak, and Cangu. The pool is bigger than the photos suggest, and deep enough to swim across and fully submerge if you're under 6ft. Yana or Mahendra replied quickly on WhatsApp whenever we had a question or concern. Communication was 10/10. A couple of small things: the water filter or dispenser didn't look very clean inside or out, though it was easy to get water elsewhere. There was no spatula for flipping eggs either, but that's me being annoying.

Good setup for two couples, with two separate rooms and a bathroom for each. The owners were really nice, and it's a peaceful place to hang out, set back from the road so traffic noise wasn't an issue. The walk from the car park is long, but the owner gave us a scooter ride and carried our bags, so it was no trouble.
