Santosha Place

Wayan, Ketut, and Agus took great care of us and helped with everything we needed. The staff were accommodating and professional, and the stay felt like a homestay with hotel facilities. Our rooms, which looked out toward the family temple, were neat and cleaned every day. The traditional Balinese design added to the experience. It's a little way from Ubud Center, so we used Grab or Gojek for most outings. That distance also gave us a quiet, cozy place to rest after busy days. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud who wants an authentic Balinese stay.

We spent four nights here and had the perfect stay. The staff were genuinely friendly and always smiling, the meals were delicious, and we enjoyed the long chats. We were especially grateful to meet the owner's daughter and hear about local history and culture. Room service was wonderful too, always ready to help with any request. Santosha Place is peaceful and has traditional Balinese touches, while still being conveniently located about 3.5 km from the heart of Ubud. It was a relaxing place to unwind and connect with the local culture. Thank you, Santosha Team, for all your care. We'll definitely return on our next visit.

Just 10 minutes outside the centre, this is a beautiful little getaway. Wyann was an incredible host and went out of her way to help my partner and me during our stay. One of my favorite hidden gems in Bali. I'll absolutely come back, 10/10.

Breakfast is something I'll really miss, especially the Balinese porridge I got completely hooked on. I saw some reviews saying portions were small, but honestly, how much do you need in the morning? 😳 Santosha Place is a small, family-owned boutique hotel tucked away somewhere peaceful, about 15 minutes from busy Ubud. It's close enough to enjoy town, but far enough out to relax. The family made me feel at home, and the service was thoughtful and personal throughout. I also loved the food, laundry service, and in-room massage and facial. That facial was heavenly. There's plenty nearby for wellness. I especially recommend the School of Unified Healing, with its free daily practices, and Pyramids of Chi, a five-minute walk away. Across the street, the infinity pool has a gorgeous view and is perfect for a lazy day in the sun. Everything about my stay was beautiful. Thank you, Santosha Place, for making my time in Bali so memorable. I already miss the tranquility and can't wait to return. Namaste.
