Alchemy around the corner was a real plus for raw and vegan food, and I liked being outside central Ubud while still close enough to reach by scooter. The location is lovely, the pool is beautiful and relaxing, and the rooms are comfortable. The staff were great, very diligent, and quick to sort out any problems. They can arrange transfers and scooter rentals for reasonable prices. I gave it four stars because the AC wasn't as cold as it should be, even though a technician came to refill it with freon, and the water heater wasn't very efficient. Otherwise, everything was amazing and I'd definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed here in September 2016 and had a great holiday. We spent little time at the villa apart from swimming and relaxing, and got to know some local laundry and motorbike people. We loved UBUD. It's in a small village, so motorbike parking is inside the village. There are restaurants along the way, including the hotel across from the entrance, and I'd recommend the place for no more than two people. There are also larger villas that work well for a family. The staff were the best.

The room was nice, and the service was polite and friendly. There's a large pool, plus restaurants on the nearby main street. The hotel is a bit far from downtown Ubud, around 25 minutes on foot. By the way, it has changed its name and is now called Ubud's villas and Spa.

Good value for the money, with prices lower than other villas of the same class around here. The staff are warm, and the food and drinks taste good. Like many places in Ubud, it's beautiful, with the area's nature, culture and art all around.
