Srijaya Ubud

This was the quietest place I’ve stayed in Bali so far, with no roosters, construction, or traffic. The location is just beyond Ubud but still close to the center, though the road there is steep, so I’d suggest having a bike. We stayed a week and really enjoyed it. Nyoman and her family were lovely. She even lent us two sarongs after we realized we’d bought the wrong ones. Wayan cleaned the room every day, which kept the ants from becoming much of a problem. You are in nature, so expect some ants. The room was generally clean, though a few surfaces were dusty. The bathroom had a very bad smell, but that’s common in Bali and wasn’t the host’s fault. We kept the door shut, so it didn’t bother us much. Thanks for everything!
