The Satya Villa

Rice fields all around made the setting special, and the service was just as lovely, with such friendly, helpful people. We had an incredible stay at the Satya villa. The room was beautifully presented, and breakfast was amazing. We hope to come back soon.

Wayan was quick to reply on booking.com whenever we needed something, and he and his wife let us know in advance that a car couldn't fit down the path to the villa. Our airport shuttle dropped us at a restaurant at the lane's end, and they kindly gave us a lift from there. If you arrive by bike, Grabs can take you to the door. The villa is secluded with a refreshing pool, close to rice fields and the monkey forest, so there was some wildlife around: ants, gekos and one visit from a monkey. That didn't bother us. Dewa made a very nice breakfast and was ready to help when needed. Some areas could have used a deeper clean, but I'd still book again. Central Ubud is only about five minutes away. We had a nice stay, thanks.

The Satya Villa is surrounded by rice fields, so it felt private and peaceful. The garden and pool were lovely, and the villa was clean with a very comfortable bed. We had some delicious breakfasts with juice there, too. Getting there was easy once the team explained where to go. Cars can't reach the villa, so staff picked us up on scooters and brought us and our bags over. They also helped arrange a scooter and laundry service. Wayan and Dewa were excellent and always ready to help, though I think that was Dewa's name. Thanks to the whole Satya Villas team for making our stay so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back. And thank you for the thoughtful gift at checkout, we really appreciated it.

The rice field view was breathtaking, and the little personalized souvenir was a thoughtful touch. I had a fantastic, peaceful stay in March. The hosts were helpful, the laundry service was top-notch, and having massage available on call was really convenient. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway! (Lily & Thomas)
