The Valerian Villa Ubud

We had almost the whole villa compound to ourselves, and it was quiet, private, and very clean. The place is well maintained, and the friendly staff were helpful. Breakfast isn’t buffet style, you order what you want, and the quality is good. It’s next to a padi field, so the setting feels serene, but it’s a bit outside Ubud center, over 20 minutes by car depending on traffic. A good place to rest and relax, definitely not for party animals.

A band plays very loud music here without consideration for guests or neighbors. It feels rude and unnecessary. A hotel should be somewhere peaceful where people can relax.

A quiet, family-friendly villa stay in Ubud. The staff were warm and attentive, keeping a gentle eye on our kids while they explored the grounds, so we felt they were completely safe. Meals can be tricky with children when travelling, but the villa food was well prepared and suited them, which made eating easy and enjoyable. I’d recommend it to families looking for a thoughtful, peaceful escape.

The service made a real difference during my stay. Staff were welcoming and attentive from check-in through check-out, and went out of their way to make things comfortable. My room was clean, well maintained, and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, and the space felt cozy but modern. The rates were reasonable for the quality of service and amenities, so it felt like a very good balance of price and quality. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone after a comfortable, clean, well-priced stay, and I’ll be back.
