Tri Sandhya Villa

The villa was stunning, the bedrooms were lovely, and the beds were so comfortable. It exceeded what we expected, and our kids especially loved the pool. The garden gave our toddler a nice place to run around, and the villa is away from the busy main street in Ubud, just where we wanted to relax. The Wi-Fi was great and never dropped out. Thanks to our wonderful hosts, Made and Sharon, for an amazing stay. They provided a porta cot for our toddler and baby monitors, and their staff made us lovely daily breakfasts and gave us massages at the villa. Made also gave us a Balinese blessing, which gave us a chance to experience Bali in a special way. We had a fantastic day out with Made and Sharon, visiting the Rice Fields, the I Love Bali sign, and the hills, where we had a beautiful lunch overlooking the mountains toward Mt Agung. They also took us to a friendly monkey forest, where the kids fed the monkeys and watched them wander around. Our time in Ubud was magical. We can’t wait to come back, and we can’t thank you enough xxoo

Made and his Laughing Buddha Bali Tours gave us the chance to see places away from the tourist spots, and his knowledge of Balinese culture, religion and customs made the tours even more interesting. His English was easy to understand, too. Thanks for sharing the Balinese way with us so authentically and warmly. We’ll be back. The villa itself is surrounded by nature, and the hosts were wonderful and caring. It really felt like a true 5+star stay.

The place seems to have been built well, but it hasn’t been looked after properly. There were unpleasant looking stains on the dark stones, possibly from water or cleaning solution, and the mattress smelled moldy. The towels were old and stained. Breakfast was just basic eggs and bread, and the pool seemed overchlorinated. It wasn’t even that cheap.

I had a wonderful vacation at this villa. There was plenty of space for a family or three couples, and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again.
