Villa Sabandari Hotel

I spent three nights here and loved how quiet and private it felt, with just six villas, no crowds, and a beautiful rice field view. The pool was crystal clear and open 24/7. The room was spotless, the sofa was great for relaxing, and the outdoor bathroom felt romantic. The water quality was surprisingly good too. They gave me an early check-in when I arrived at 10 AM. The staff were so kind, and when I asked, someone came right away to catch a little gecko in my room. The city is about a 10-minute drive away, but they offer free pickup and drop-off. Just message them on WhatsApp and they reply straight away. Breakfast changed daily, with options like Nasi Goreng and fresh fruit. For the price, the service and quality are hard to beat. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Ubud.

For somewhere so close to the heart of Ubud, it was remarkably quiet and tranquil. After a busy day in town, it was such a nice place to come back to. Every taxi driver who dropped us off commented on how peaceful it was. With only six villas or rooms, it has a lovely boutique feel, and the price was hard to believe for what we got. The hotel deserves at least four stars, if not five. Our room was beautifully decorated and spotless. The staff were so friendly, and breakfast, served in our room on the large outdoor terrace, was one of the best I've had. A welcome drink and free massage were lovely surprises, and the free shuttle pickup and drop-off came in handy. We couldn't find a single fault. We stayed four nights and wished we could've stayed longer. Thank you for such a great visit and for making my husband's birthday special.

The location gave us a great balance: it was quiet and calm, with lovely green walks and a pool to relax beside, while Ubud center was an easy 15-minute walk away. They'd also drop us off or pick us up if we didn't want to walk. Leaflets in the room had lots of local walking and restaurant tips, and they arranged any day trips or activities we wanted. There are several local warungs just down the road with good, inexpensive food. There are only six rooms, I believe. Ours was clean, comfortable, and really nice, with a great rainfall shower and a stunning rice field view. The staff were excellent and very attentive. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both very good, though I would've liked more Balinese dishes at breakfast. The whole place felt luxurious without costing a luxurious price. We'd definitely stay again.

The place was peaceful, the service was great, and everyone was very friendly. Having breakfast on the balcony and afternoon tea was a lovely touch. Highly recommend it.
