I loved staying at Pondok Ayu Soca and would definitely book again. It was such good value, with a gorgeous room, a strong shower and great water temperature. The location is quiet, with beautiful rice field views and a tropical atmosphere, but town is a very quick, easy ride away. The service was so kind. They waited for me when I arrived at closing time, lent me an adapter for my electronics, and even made breakfast for me twice after I accidentally slept through my alarm.

This place was one of my favourite stays yet. It sits just outside Ubud’s hustle and bustle, with quiet, lush surroundings that felt perfect for my stay. The staff were so lovely, and my room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re after a real hidden gem.

I spent a month at Pondok Ayu Soca and absolutely loved it. The manager, Nyoman, and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful. It felt like a lovely home for me, for many reasons. Although it’s centrally located in Ubud, the property has a private, serene, quiet feeling beside a beautiful rice field. I recommend staying here.

This is a decent hotel, though the amenities felt like they belonged in a 2 star place. We paid for breakfast but didn’t get it, and I’d suggest improving the bathroom. Also, the roads to the villa are narrow enough for only one car, so be aware.

The beautiful sunrise from my balcony made me happy every morning, and the surrounding nature gave me fresh, positive energy. This place was exactly what I wanted. I stayed here for about a month and felt at home. It was affordable but good enough, with a spacious, clean room, a cute pool and garden, and breakfast included. The staff were always kind, helpful, and smiling, and willing to help me anytime.
