Ubud Heaven Sayan Villa

We spent a month at Ubud Heaven, and the name felt right. Sayan is quiet and away from Central Ubud’s crowds, yet it’s only a 10 minute ride to the action. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice and both meals were marvelous. Order the crispy duck. The villa itself is beautiful and peaceful, but what made the stay over the top awesome was manager Suki. She treated us like family, made sure everything was perfect, and even gave us cooking lessons. Ubud Heaven is wonderful, and meeting Suki made it #1 for us.

The room was dark, as wooden houses tend to be, but the veranda was comfortable, spacious, and well appointed, with a full kitchen and places to sit. Both the room and veranda had plenty of space, and the jungle setting was lovely. There are lots of steps, so expect to walk a bit. The gracious staff took care of my luggage. Everyone was attentive and polite, especially suki,nandu,dita,guntra. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks to you all, I’d recommend staying here.

This place has a jungle-like feel, so it’s a good choice if that’s what you’re after. There aren’t activities inside the resort, but you can rent a scooty to get around. Breakfast is good if you’re a non vegetarian.

Peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful scenery, the villa was perfect for a relaxing getaway. I especially loved the private pool, and the fresh, delicious breakfast was beautifully presented every morning. The whole stay felt relaxing and luxurious. I’d absolutely love to come back.
