Viceroy Bali

We spent two nights in the Terrace Villa at Viceroy Bali, and it was a relaxing, memorable stay. The villa was spacious, with a beautiful forest view and a peaceful feel. Staff were warm, attentive and helpful throughout, even helping us send postcards, which we appreciated. Getting to Ubud town was an easy, fairly short drive, though the hotel was comfortable enough that we didn’t feel like spending much time out. Breakfast was à la carte and very enjoyable.

Breakfast at CasCades was a daily highlight, and we enjoyed the food and drinks throughout. The team were quick to anticipate what we needed, from arranging transport and recommending places to eat to simply greeting us by name. What made it special was how personal everything felt. Viceroy combines five-star luxury with an intimate, genuinely hospitable atmosphere. On our first stay at Viceroy Bali, the warm welcome and thoughtful villa upgrade already set the tone. Service stayed exceptional throughout, and every detail seemed carefully considered. The private pool villa was beautiful, the valley views breathtaking, and the atmosphere wonderfully relaxed. Our stay exceeded every expectation. We only wish we’d booked longer, and we’d gladly return.

My grandkids especially loved having a private pool, and we’d love to come back. Everyone was friendly, responsive and accommodating. We had a lot of fun at the cooking school, and the drivers were terrific. They also helped us book activities outside the resort and handled our other requests so well. The food was delicious, from breakfast and dinner to the takeaways we had when leaving the country. Best resort I’ve ever stayed at.

The management came out to greet us, which made us feel valued. My family and I had three rooms for our large group at The Viceroy in Ubud, Bali, and they kindly upgraded us to some of the best rooms available. From arrival, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was genuinely five-star quality, the service impeccable, and the setting and atmosphere just right. The hospitality felt sincere. The Viceroy is a gem in Bali, and I highly recommend it for a wonderful stay.
