The Agoda photos don’t match the reality at all. The room was uninhabitable, with a broken toilet, mouldy and cracked walls, and a strong sewage-drain smell. I checked out only three hours after arriving because I couldn’t bear to stay. When I complained, the manager, or whoever was attending, brushed it off as if it were normal. There was no apology or help, just indifference. This felt like false advertising, and someone needs to take action. It was the worst stay I’ve ever had and not worth a single cent. Do yourself a favour and stay far away.

I checked out immediately and moved to another hotel. The room was filthy, mouldy and smelled terrible, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The toilet was disgusting, with visible stains and no proper sanitation. There were no bath towels, toiletries or water, and not even a TV or other entertainment. It felt forgotten and abandoned, not like a place for guests. Broken tiles and a cracked toilet bowl showed no effort at maintenance. The online photos were fake and misleading, nowhere close to the property’s actual condition. I couldn’t imagine staying even one night in such an unhygienic, misrepresented place. It was a complete waste of time and money. Avoid this accommodation at all costs.

We spent four nights in this Ubud apartment. The room was spacious, with effective air conditioning, reliable hot water and strong water pressure. It was very quiet day and night, yet close to lively streets with restaurants and live music. The pool was decent, the staff friendly and responsive, and the WiFi high quality. Breakfast was satisfying, with toast and eggs or pancakes, plus fresh fruit salad of banana, papaya and watermelon. Parking is paid and not on-site, and it’s a long way from the apartment. Each entry or exit costs 20,000 IDR, with another 10,000 IDR if the car stays overnight past 8 AM. The bathroom needs better upkeep and cleaning, and the room could use fresh paint and updates. All in all, it was average, with some useful amenities and a few things needing improvement.

The location is perfect, with restaurants, shops and bars right nearby, and it’s a fine choice if you want a cheap Ubud stay. The pool and outdoor area are lovely, clean and well kept. Breakfast is included and tasty, a banana pancake, fresh fruit and tea or coffee. The rooms are spacious and clean, though the bathrooms feel a little dated. We couldn’t get hot water in the shower, and the toilet blocked. The owner was helpful and moved us to another room.
