Even though it’s just a handful of meters from one of the main roads into southern Ubud, the place is calm, looking out over river paddies and the sacred monkey forest. Staff were friendly and engaging. Breakfast is a simple buffet with the basics, and the light-bite lunches we had were generous. The larger pool was a welcome spot after touring Bali, and this is a great base for exploring. Happy hour was even better. We had a fantastic stay and hope to return soon.

The setting by the river and surrounded by nature made the view feel like paradise. Since you’re right in the middle of nature, there can be other creatures around, including mosquitoes and lizards, so you should be okay with that if you come to Bali. The hotel is very close to Ubud center, and its breakfast and shuttle saved us money and made things much easier. The staff were so sweet and helpful from beginning to end, I wanted to hug them all.

I loved this place. The boutique villas are quiet, the pools are great, and the staff are awesome and really attentive. They planned a lovely surprise birthday for me and were helpful throughout. The food was pure bliss, with lots of menu choices at very reasonable prices. It was the best overall experience I had on my trip.

The rice-field view from our room was fantastic, though the bathroom was a little dated. The staff were lovely, and it’s a secluded Balinese retreat close to everything UBud, directly opposite the Monkey Forest. I can highly recommend staying there.

A quiet oasis tucked away from a busy road, but most Ubud sights are still within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff are super friendly. If the heat gets too much to bear, there’s a free hotel shuttle.
