A quiet spot for a family, even though restaurants, rice fields, and everything else are close by. The villa has two nice bedrooms, an open living room, and a pool. It’s kept very clean and well maintained, with thoughtful details and great design. Breakfast was provided too.

Wayan, the caretaker, came each morning to prepare breakfast and tidy up, and Steve, the owner, was easy to reach, efficient, and quick to respond. The villa is comfortable, well equipped, good value, and in a great location. It’s a lovely little slice of paradise, and I’d absolutely stay again. The L-shaped villa wraps around a crystal-clear pool, with spacious bedrooms and very good air conditioning. It feels private, peaceful, and well maintained, and works well for a couple or small family. Though it’s just off a main road, a little lane makes it feel far removed. The lane continues towards northern Penestanan in Ubud. There are cafes and places to eat along Penenstanan Rd on the way into central Ubud, though the road feels rather hairy. A quieter walk, only a little longer, is to take the side lane towards the Penestanan steps. The car-free maze of lanes there has some amazing cafes, most of them cash-only.

The villa is very comfortable, and Bubu cafe is right out front. They bring the meals over and set them on the table. The Balinese food is the best, especially the duck, though you need to give a day's notice for it. Bayu Kitchen is good too and has live entertainment, and Star child Spa is excellent.

A lovely pool villa with everything provided for a relaxing holiday. There are plenty of small restaurants in Penestanan nearby, plus walking tracks and spas. Highly recommended.
