We had a wonderful time at Villa Kasili and would absolutely go back. The host was fantastic, taking great care of us, driving us into town, suggesting trips and restaurants, and planning day trips with us. He showed us his home and family, the festival at his temple, and the neighbourhood. We learned so much about Bali, Ubud, and Indonesia. The house had lots of space, with a nice garden and a clean, fresh pool. The rooms were clean, and the garden had both shade and sun. Breakfast had several choices, and all of them were good. We recommend it with all our hearts!

It took a little effort to find at first, but the stay was amazing. The host was extremely accommodating, kind, and helpful. It felt at least as luxurious as places that cost a lot more. If you’re going to Bali, skip Kuta and head to Ubud to stay at Villa Kasili.

I went with four friends, and it was amazing. The pictures don’t show how nice the place really looks. The owner is brilliant, really helpful, and a great guide. He also makes you breakfast every morning. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere near Ubud.
