A lovely week with friends! The welcome and the villa were both great, and the tropical garden is beautiful. It's peaceful, about 10 minutes from Ubud Palace, Tegallalang Rice Terrace, and Monkey Forest. Recommended.

Getting here by car is difficult. Just after turning off the main road, the driveway is very narrow, then there's a steep descent, and drivers refuse to go down it. The villa itself is in terrible disrepair. Pool tiles are falling off. In the small house, lizards run across the thatched ceiling, hopefully outside, and the straw makes the acoustics sound like dinosaurs. Clusters of insects cover the bed canopies, and there are holes in the floors and walls. If you want to ruin your vacation, stay here.
