Breakfast was outstanding, and the villa felt like a lovely oasis right in the city. It’s beautifully kept, with a gorgeous setting and exceptional staff. Getting to central Ubud is easy, and there’s a supermarket and an ATM nearby. I’d happily stay here again.

We found the place through Airbnb, and the listing photos don’t really show how lovely it is. The entrance takes a bit of finding, down a well-lit alley between two buildings. There’s a supermarket very close by.

The morning prayers woke me up, which was a shame. Still, it’s a magnificent villa and a lovely way to experience Balinese life.

I found the villa confusing from start to finish. When I called, somebody else answered, and I couldn’t figure out where the place was. It just left me dizzy. 😈

A great tucked-away spot for a family holiday. One of the best.
