Wina Ubud B&B

Our five nights with this family felt calm and comfortable, and we could count on their help whenever we needed it. That warmth made our Ubud stay wonderful and unforgettable. Ketut was especially supportive. He can pick you up from or take you to the airport, arrange day trips, and, as an excellent guide, share plenty about Balinese culture and everyday life if you’re interested. The transport costs were fair, and the guidance felt like a valuable extra. We stayed in a spacious, well-organized triple room with tasteful decor. The hostess tidied it daily, and the lovely-smelling bed linen was changed every other day. There was good water pressure, effective AC, and lots of windows and daylight. The property feels like a small temple tucked into a well-kept garden full of beautiful plants. Across the road, there’s a large public temple where Kecak dance, art, and fire performances take place twice a week. The neighbourhood is peaceful but still close to central Ubud. Walking trails through rice fields in the northwest are nearby, and we found them even more beautiful than the Tegalalang rice terraces.

I spent two weeks here and felt safe and at home. The whole family was so sweet and friendly, the room was cleaned every day, and the location made it easy to get around Ubud. Breakfast was tasty and gave me plenty of energy, though there weren’t many options. What they did serve was yummy. A few things could be better for longer stays: they only provided water at check-in, so I had to buy my own for the rest of the two weeks. It would also feel more professional if they supplied simple body wash, toothpaste, and a toothbrush. Thanks for all the smiles and positivity. You made my Ubud holiday much better, and you’ll stay in my heart until next time. ♥️

It’s an easy walk of about ten minutes to the city center, with shops nearby, and the area felt pleasant and safe. We were comfortable throughout and felt welcome the whole time. We’ll definitely return. Thanks so much for having us! The hosts are what make this place special. They’re warm, caring, and kind, and from the start we felt looked after. That hospitality gave the stay a lovely home-like feel. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the hosts’ garden was beautiful and carefully maintained, with several places to sit and a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was prepared with care and made a great start to the day.

The host and his family made me feel like part of the family, sharing Bali stories and helpful suggestions. I’d have stayed longer, but everything was booked through winter. Book extra nights if you can! I spent my first two nights in Ubud here, and it was a great start. The rooms are huge for the price, with big comfortable beds. Breakfast was included, a delicious sweet banana pancake with coffee or tea. Most rooms have a little private patio, and there’s a gazebo in the lovely garden. The building is in local Balinese style, and the location is just minutes from Ubud Palace, the Monkey Forest, the market, and other central spots. They provided towels, but no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in the bathroom. Still, for the price, I can’t complain. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud.
