The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water, and the people were nice. We paid little, so we were still happy, though the cleaning and service fell short. The room was spacious, with an amazing bathroom and a lovely terrace view over the hills, but it hadn’t been prepared: everything was dusty, there were cobwebs and dead bugs, and the toilet leaked when flushed. The jacuzzi was dirty and didn’t work. There were no towels, though the bed itself was clean. Getting there was confusing. We hadn’t realised when booking that we’d be lost in the hills and have to pay much more to get there. A sign from the street said the hotel was there, but the address led us along the street, where another name was posted, so we were confused until someone finally came up and gave us the room. On our first night we waited over an hour for dinner, which cost 30k per meal. You need to rent a scooter from the place to explore nearby. We had an amazing day riding around and visiting beautiful waterfalls and hidden gems. I’d recommend it to laid-back guests, but anyone expecting high service may want to choose somewhere else.

The drive to the tourist sights takes a few minutes, but it’s absolutely worth it. We loved this homestay and spent two nights here. It has a beautiful garden, the staff are amazing, and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. Highly recommended!

The room is spacious, and there’s a pleasant little pool with an outdoor seating area. It’s affordable, and my stay turned out better than I expected.
