Our problem was with one staff member, not the resort itself. Just two days ago, before we’d even had a chance to stay a full day, someone from room service treated me badly. They said we had told them there would be six people, but I was there as a child and saw that nobody said how many would stay overnight. They came looking for things with us at night and told us to add another bed. We tried not to show how uncomfortable we felt at first, but one person kept making a big issue of the extra bed.

It’s a family-run villa, not one of those big resort operators, so the atmosphere and service feel very humble. They use local staff and local food, which made me feel close to the surrounding area. If you want a quiet place to recharge or just get away from your usual routine, this could be the place. Enjoy your stay, and stay humble 😉😉

We’d already spent 1juta, and just as we were about to sleep, staff came to our villa saying one extra bed was for only one person and cost 200k. They wanted us to get two more beds too, which would bring it to 900k.
