Surya Melasti Beach Villa

Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. We booked 2 villas for 3 nights, but when we got to reception they said there were no rooms. We asked for our money back and waited 3 hours, but never received a refund. Another guest was also fighting to get a refund after being given a room without AC or cleaning. They take online bookings and then make people struggle to get their money back. This place is a scam.

The prices are affordable, and I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is beautiful and has a calm, relaxing feel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I’d highly recommend it if you want a quality stay without spending a lot.

The villa was such a peaceful escape, quiet and serene, and the sea view from the pool was a highlight. It’s conveniently located with easy access to Melasti Beach. Our rooms were clean and luxurious, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this beautiful villa.

Our New Year’s Eve stay was awful, and I’m posting because I don’t want others to go through the same thing. We arrived 3 hours after check-in was meant to start, but the room still wasn’t ready. When we finally got there, the aircon wasn’t working on a 38 degree day with high humidity. The room was dirty and smelly everywhere, full of mosquitos, and the roof leaked. The safe wasn’t even bolted to the wall. When we spoke with staff, they gave vague reasons and promises, but nothing got fixed. It felt like they’d given up because the rooms were so bad. We were stuck staying the night, suffering, since it was New Year’s Eve, raining heavily, and we couldn’t find anywhere else to stay. Nobody offered a fan, mosquito coils, or anything to make us more comfortable. Please check the photos. SCAM! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
