Taste of Bali Hostel

We stayed here on our first day in Bali, and found it affordable. The room was clean, and the staff were very accommodating, sharing recommendations for places to visit in Uluwatu.

French guests played music extremely loudly in the yard, and there was no contact information from the hostel. I couldn’t sleep the whole night. You can hear anyone talking outside from the rooms, and as others have mentioned, there was mold under the bed sheets. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it if a good night’s sleep matters to you.

The staff were extremely nice, but the room really wasn't worth the price. It was a single room with mold, a hard bed, and a container-style bathroom. You could hear everything from outside and from the neighbor. The kitchen was dirty and poorly equipped, there was no pool, and the location was disappointing. I wouldn't spend that much on it.

The room itself was pleasant and the location worked well. Breakfast was filling, and the staff were nice. They also offered a cheap scooter, though it wasn't in the best condition. The bathroom was very small, and the room had poor sound insulation.
