The Bali Boarding House

I spent five days here and loved the calm atmosphere. There’s fresh water, a big kitchen with everything you need, a house dog, and lovely natural surroundings. The garden and design feel thoughtful and connected to nature, with a real sense of home. The staff on site were genuinely kind and helpful, and Desi was always reachable on WhatsApp if I needed anything. They’ll try their best to help, but ask directly if something is unclear or different from what you expected. It’s well located and fairly priced too. I’d recommend it if you like a simple place with some soul.

The room was cleaned regularly, and Opi, the well-behaved night guard dog, was lovely to have around. I also appreciated the peaceful setting just off the main road, with only a short walk to restaurants, warung, a mini petrol station, cafe, money changer and minimart. The shared kitchen was clean and had plenty of tools. You can also rent a scooter or use the laundry service at an affordable price. The location felt perfect for me. Thanks to Dessi and the team, you were all so nice and lovely.

There’s a big garden to relax in, and the place itself is clean and peaceful. Desi, the owner, was easy to reach and very helpful. It’s about 10-15 minutes by bike from the main beaches and restaurants. I’d recommend it.

The rooms are basic, but good value, especially with the relaxed feeling from the garden. The place was clean, and the artwork gave it a warm feel. I enjoyed staying here, and found the garden very welcoming.
