The cool, peaceful feel of the place really stood out, and both the staff and other guests were warm and welcoming. I felt comfortable here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Wamena.

Dinner was good, and the hotel felt very safe. My room was huge, with hot showers and daily service. There was a slight damp smell, but it wasn't a big deal. A great option for this region.

We stayed a whole week, and I can recommend the place. The staff were friendly and helpful at reception, the food was good, and we got fresh bed linen, towels, and water every day. Our standard room was, well, standard. With little ventilation it got hot, and leaving the door open meant mosquitoes. Even so, it's the best place in Wamena.

Breakfast was a highlight. There aren't many choices, but everything tasted great, especially the traditional Papuan food like their keladi ungu/purple taro, a Wamena local delicacy. We also enjoyed most of the restaurant dishes. We stayed in a deluxe twin room with a window facing the lobby hall. It was comfortable, though not very spacious, with enough room for 2-3 medium suitcases. The basic amenities and hot water were there, but you have to run the water for up to 3mnts before it gets hot. There is no AC in any room, but Wamena is cool enough, and cold at night. It's one of the safer, better hotels in Wamena Jayawijaya, close to the main city and not far from the airport. Seems well suited for a staycation, meetings, or work. It'd definitely be our first choice when we come to Wamena again.

The garden is nice, the food is good, and the hotel feels removed from the town noise. It's close to the airport, too. Pay attention to which section your room is in. I'd spend more for one in the newer part.
