The hotel is near the city center, but upkeep seems to have slipped. When I stayed last year, the bed cover was clean and white and they provided towels. This time the cover looked gray, the toilet was less clean, and there were no towels. Maybe maintenance is difficult because the city has few hotels and isn't much of a tourist destination, even though it has beautiful places to visit, like kayangan and the large reservoir called Gadjah Mungkur. I hope they keep the place maintained even when guests are rare.

The location is in the middle of the city and the price is really cheap. Staff were polite and respectful, but my room was extremely dirty. There was a blood mark and many other questionable marks on the bed. The TV remote batteries were dead, the shower couldn't be attached to the wall, and there was no bathroom hanger. I asked for another towel because there was only one, but both towels had lots of marks and smelled very bad.
