I came without booking and the staff welcomed me warmly. The location is very convenient, right across from the Dieng 0 km point. Weekdays cost 150,000 Rupiah; I don't know the weekend rate. Parking fits just two cars, though there's lots of space for motorbikes. My room was spacious with a large bed, working hot water, fast Wi-Fi, and a dispenser in the corridor. For the price, I was very satisfied. The shortcomings were a bit of dirt on the room and bathroom floors, musty sheets, no towels, soap, or tea, a broken TV, and a rickety drying rack. You can also ask the receptionist to find you a motorbike to rent. Yesterday I got a 160cc Vario for 1 hour (24 hours) at 150,000 Rupiah.

I chose the en suite bathroom option for 200,000 Rupiah, and the room also had a TV. I was really, really satisfied. The bathroom was clean and the hot water ran well, and the staff were kind and polite.

The house next door is where we stayed this time, ten years after using a homestay in Dieng. We rented the whole house: three bedrooms, each with two large beds, two bathrooms with hot water, and a fully equipped kitchen. Bring your own cooking ingredients. One suggestion, a carpet on the floor would help with the cold......

A good place for a family to rest. The bedrooms were clean, and the kitchen had cooking equipment, a dispenser, tea, coffee, and sugar. Reception service was okay. We'll come again next time.
