The room had a strong drain smell. We reported it several times, and although they cleaned it, the odor stayed all night. They moved us the following day, but we had to put up with it until then. The service was one of the worst we've had in a while. They knew there was a problem and still didn't resolve it after three complaints. An apology the next day didn't make up for that, and we hadn't paid to sleep in a smelly room. Getting around was difficult too. The road is all stones, there's nowhere to eat nearby, and the place is far from everything. The view from the room was nice, though. I also borrowed a motorbike to reach breakfast, but nobody mentioned there'd be a charge. They asked for payment when we returned it. The issue wasn't the money, it was that they should have told us first so we didn't have to rush to bring it back. I gave one star because of the service. When a room has a problem, do something about it, offer a refund or something in return. Saying sorry doesn't fix it.

The price was high, but the facilities and service really weren't good. The road there is incredibly difficult, and I could understand that part if access is hard. But please improve the service too. When I finally got to the room, I needed the toilet and it smelled awful. I complained over and over, but they didn't offer a solution. The guy kept saying the other rooms were full and things like that, so I had to sleep in a room that smelled of poop. Not proper, wouldn't recommend.

The good parts were the friendly service, the lovely view, and being near a beautiful tea plantation. But the room wasn't what I expected from the deluxe photos on Traveloka. I booked a long time ahead and saw two windows in the listing, yet only the two corner rooms seemed to have them. I felt bad for the kid who'd been expecting a big, spacious room based on that picture. The stairs were very narrow, so you had to climb onto the bed to reach your things, and they wouldn't move us to another room, saying that was the app's policy. The stairs were also extremely steep. It got very cold, and without a heater it felt like being under a waterfall. The access road is rough as well, and parking is just a small area.

The food was tasty, the view is great, and the price is low, so there's a lot to like. The staff are friendly and helpful too. We didn't have sandals, and they lent us some. We also didn't bring prayer equipment, so they got it and brought it to our room. The rocky road is normal for the mountains. If you've been to South Bandung or Garut, you've probably seen worse. About the leak, it was from the rain, or dew, not a child. The water heater is upstairs, so it takes longer to warm up. We'll come back next time. We'll wait for the downstairs room with the private pool to be ready. 😍🙏 Put it in.
