This hotel doesn’t seem to exist as advertised. I booked online, then was told they’d stopped partnering with all the apps and would have to charge me more. The room didn’t match the description, so we chose another place, but they still charged us 50% even though we’d only been there for 10 minutes.

The management feels like family, and the grandmother is very friendly. The weekend rate is 300/night. It’s a great base for motorbike touring too: if you’re wondering where to wash your bike, you can do it yourself in the parking lot. The location is the most strategic, close to central Dieng, snack shops, Alfa, and tourist attractions. Highly recommended.

The accommodation photos don’t match the place at all. I have no idea whose house they showed. There’s no WiFi or TV, the toilet is cramped, and there are no toiletries. The blankets, pillows, and sheets all smell. You have to ask for hot water to be turned on, and even then it takes two hours before it comes through. The parking area only fits three cars, so mine had to stay on the roadside. I was so on edge that I couldn’t sleep well. I booked one night on Agoda for 277,000 Rupiah and checked out right away the next day. On the day I left, the price had dropped sharply to 65,000 Rupiah. The stay was awful, and even just sleeping in the room wasn’t worth that price. Please improve the facilities, and don’t mislead guests with photos that aren’t yours.
