We really appreciated how quickly the inn staff came to help when we got stuck on the wrong road. A local had stopped us about 2 km from the inn to warn us the road was damaged and difficult for our front-wheel-drive car. One staff member came down and took the wheel, with a local helping too. Great teamwork from everyone. This was my first stay. I paid 800,000 Rupiah through Travellink because it was the holidays; the usual price was 600,000 Rupiah. Travellink hadn’t warned us about the route, so we used maps and went straight toward Curug Sikarim. We’d never been there before and didn’t know how extreme that road was: sharp turns, steep climbs, badly damaged surface, and big potholes. Turning around wasn’t an option, since we were about 40 kilometers out. I’d tell future guests to avoid the Curug Sikarim route and come through Dieng instead. The staff greeted us when we arrived. Our room and the restrooms were clean, and the views are lovely when the sun comes out. There’s a restaurant too. The toilets have no tissue and are very close to the main road, so they don’t feel very private. Otherwise, we were quite satisfied. It might look nicer if the land beside the cabins were planted with typical mountain flowers instead of being so bare.

The location and view aren’t the best, but they’re okay. The room itself was clean and nice, with a fairly roomy bathroom and hot water that ran smoothly. Rain caused a problem in our room, but the staff fixed it quickly, so I’d recommend staying here. A canopy over the terrace would be a good improvement, so guests could sit there even when it rains.
