Private rooms and dorms are available, with 4 bathrooms. Hot water sometimes doesn’t work. They provide snacks, meals, and drinks. Great value for hikers, whether solo or in a group. The parking lot fits 3 cars and some motorbikes.

During a long weekend around Dieng, everything seemed fully booked on the usual apps, Booking and agoda. I messaged this place through google and got a quick reply. I stayed in the dorm for 75k/night, with lockers available. There’s also a small menu in case you get hungry.

The warm blankets were a lifesaver in Dieng’s cold weather, and the flexible hours made our stay especially easy. We arrived at 8 AM after an overnight bus from Bandung and could check in early to rest. On Tuesday, they also let us stay until 9 PM while waiting for a late ride to Salatiga. They even offer free water refills for reusable bottles. The upstairs double room was bright, cute, and roomy for the price, with a mirror, comb, and lockable mini cabinet that works as a safe. The shared living room is a great place to relax. Facilities were clean, with toilet paper and a hot shower, though the toilets are squat style. It’s right by the Patak Banteng base camp and the main road, with plenty of tasty nasi campur spots nearby. Indomart and Alfamart are about a five-minute walk away. It can be tricky to find at first because it’s down a gang, but the location is otherwise excellent. The receptionist and the lady pembantu were lovely, happy to chat and offer suggestions. Also, try the sate lontong in front of the musholla on the main road.

A reasonably priced spot at IDR200/night, and it’s handy for hikers since it’s close to the basecamp.
