The balcony has a view of Mount Sindoro, and there was a shared living room there too. The location was fairly convenient, but our room was upstairs and the stairs were quite steep. We arrived in Wonosobo unexpectedly during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, when finding a place was hard. After searching and reading reviews, we booked this accommodation for around 450,000 Rupiah, which felt quite high for RedDoorz. We checked in at 8 PM and were welcomed by a friendly receptionist who also worked as security. We got two 600ml bottles of mineral water, and the room had shampoo, soap, and one towel. The room was small, like a boarding house, and the toilet wouldn't flush properly, so it smelled of urine. The mattress was dusty, and the covers and other things didn't feel clean. There wasn't much ventilation, so it felt stuffy, and there was no fan. Luckily, the air outside was cool. I hope SMG pays more attention to guest comfort in the future.

On weekdays, a night costs 122,000 Rupiah, which is pretty good for somewhere to sleep. The upstairs rooms can face the main road or away from it. From the road-facing rooms you get a view of Mount Sindoro Sumbing, but passing traffic makes it harder to rest. There’s no AC, though the cool location makes that manageable. The limited ventilation does leave the rooms a bit stuffy, so adding a fan would help.

It's cheap and conveniently on the main road near the town square. But the longer I stay here, the less clean the rooms seem to be. Please do a deep clean more often, and change the sheets and towels for each new guest so people don't end up itchy.
