Breakfast is brought right to your room, so there's no need to go out for it. The inn has a quiet, comfortable feel and is close to Lempuyangan Station. Its classic design is distinctive, with striking batik displays from the batik museum.

This was room 109 in December 2018. I paid 400,000 Rupiah without breakfast, and ended up staying because nearby hotels were full or had very high rates, I knew little about hotels in Yogyakarta, and I needed somewhere to rest after a long trip. It was close to Malioboro, about 12,000 Rupiah by Grab car. After handing me the key, the receptionist just pointed down the hallway and said the room was at the far left. Inside, there were four beds, but the walls were peeling and the room felt damp. The door handle was rusty, and there was glass above the door. The wall between rooms was partly brick and partly plasterboard, so I could hear the people next door talking. The bathroom was dirty, the door wouldn't shut, and the shower leaked badly. I couldn't sleep well and checked out early in the morning. The bathroom was so dirty that I felt like throwing up while brushing my teeth, and I skipped showering altogether. Airy has taken over management of the old Batik Museum Hotel and turned it into an appealing place. The rooms are clean and spacious, and there's plenty of parking. Just be aware it's not right by the roadside.

The rooms are comfortable, hot water is always available, parking is ample, and the location is easy to reach. I'd like to see more variety on the food menu.
