The lobby and corridors have a pleasant traditional fragrance, and the rooms stand out with touches of Mercure's iconic purple. It's a nice place with comfortable rooms and a strategic location in Yogyakarta. They've done a good job improving the hotel and maintaining its quality.

The room was excellent, the food was good, and staff were friendly and attentive. My status was properly recognized, and communication before arrival was very helpful. Everything went beyond my expectations. The restaurant team gave wonderful service throughout the stay, especially Dea. Her friendly manner and professionalism left a strong impression.

After a long, tiring trip, I hoped for an easy stay at Mercure Yogyakarta, but my payment wasn't showing in the system. I was told accounting was off duty, and the payment issue came up two more times at checkout, which surprised me. When they asked for feedback as I checked out, I explained my concerns. It felt as if they brushed them aside: nobody took notes or showed that my comments had been acknowledged. They may want to consider whether this service lives up to the hotel's star rating.

I stayed for two days and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet, the facilities were good, and it's close to the city. The food was fresh, delicious, and had lots of choices. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Yogyakarta.

A quiet place to stay, and the special meals combining Indonesian food were awesome. The chocolate cookies were so tasty, and my kids really liked the Soto. Thanks, grand mercure. We'll come back again.
