The staff were so friendly, and the furniture has a Javanese cultural feel that makes the place feel homey. The fish pond in front of the room helps cool things down in Jogja, though it could use some work to make it look better. There’s a security guard at night, which adds to the feeling of safety, but the parking area is very small, especially for cars. The room is nice but not very spacious, and the bed and pillows need to be cleaner. The toilet is at an awkward height, which makes using it uncomfortable. All rooms are non-smoking, so you have to smoke outside, right in front of your room.

The streets leading to this small hotel are a bit narrow, and it doesn’t seem suitable for wheelchair users. Rooms are clean and the AC temperature is adequate. The bathrooms are shared. Breakfast was limited but tasted good, and the Wi-Fi was high speed.

It’s a quiet homestay with a nice atmosphere, a fair distance from traffic. We had to ask for breakfast, even though it was included in the service.
