If you're a light sleeper, I don't think this place is suitable. The road is very busy and the noise from motorbikes and cars went on all night. The bedsheets had stains, breakfast included animal guts, and the hot water was inconsistent. The facilities were extremely poor and the stay was horrible. We booked three nights through booking in a so-called twin room. We asked to change rooms and paid $58 for a double room, but it was still extremely noisy. There are only three rooms in this so-called hotel, and I think its rating is overrated. I give it 3 out of 10, just for the location. There's another hotel only 1.3km away called Metro Xxxx, much better and cheaper. The owner should run the business properly instead of leaving the poor staff to deal with complaints.

We only had to walk a short way up to Malioboro, and the location was good. The room was large, clean and comfortable, with good Aircon, and it was excellent value for a great little hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. They didn't speak much English, so we used Google translate a bit, but they really went out of their way to help.

The amenities are complete and the staff are friendly, with WIFI too. It's very near alun alun, and Jalan wijilan has a great culinary selection. The place is quite small and has no garden. The room faces a major street, so it can get kind of dangerous if you bring children who get out of control.

The room was clean, the shower had good hot water, and the refrigerator was a plus. There's a bit of street noise, but it was tolerable. The adhan from the nearby mosque worked as an alarm, so I could enjoy Yogyakarta from early morning. Staff are in the lounge on the left, just ask them to check you in.
