Guesthouse Jogja Osvil

A good fit for a big family. It’s peaceful inside the housing complex, and in the morning you can look out over the rice fields.

I hadn’t come across an affordable guest house this spacious before. It can sleep up to 16, and it was comfortable and very clean. The hills and rice fields nearby make the surroundings quiet, though there are minimarkets and plenty of food options within 500 meters, from Padang rice to chicken noodles, meatballs and catfish pecel. It’s near UMY, Kasihan, Bantul, and worked really well for our large family and group of friends. Osvil Guest House was a great place for family time!

The sunset from the second-floor balcony was gorgeous, with the rice fields right across from the property. We stayed for two nights and found the place comfortable and cool. It seems well suited to families or groups traveling together. Thanks, Osvil. God willing, I’ll stay here again on my next trip to Jogja.

There are plenty of rooms, and the facilities cover the basics well, including a kitchen, refrigerator and garage. Security was excellent too. The villa looks out over rice fields, with sunsets each evening, and it’s a lovely choice for a trip with family or friends. I’d happily recommend it :)
