For less than US $20, I got breakfast as well. It's old but clean. You need to upgrade for a hot shower. A good fit for a backpacker staying just one night.

This is an inexpensive option near Gajah Mada Campus in Yogyakarta. The room really needs freshening up, and the owner should pay more attention to keeping the kitchen clean.

The hotel is in central Jogja, in a quiet area. From the street it looks old, but inside it's well kept and the rooms are clean. I'd recommend it.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean. What stood out most was the service: the staff were kind, thoughtful, and personal. The nearby mosque was the one downside, waking me at dawn.

The walls are thin enough that I could hear other guests, which got annoying. Still, it's worth the money. The location is perfect, and Wi-Fi and breakfast are free. The staff were extremely helpful, explained everything I needed to know about my room, and did their best to get me anything I asked for. Shoutout to Lydia!
