The service is what made this hotel stand out for me. Thanks to all the staff, especially Riyan, and Arief (taxidriver), who drove me from the hotel to Jepara harbour in a private taxi. I’ve travelled a lot, and this hotel is among my favorites. The rooms were clean, the bed and shower were nice, the price was good, and breakfast was fantastic. It was perfect. The security staff were welcoming and gentle, as were the receptionists when I first arrived. The room had a warm feel, decent soundproofing, and was quite clean, as was the bathroom. Basic amenities included a toothbrush and toothpaste, nothing more or less. I also appreciated the hotel's efforts to use less plastic and provide refill water dispensers along the corridors. The checkout left me uneasy. I know hotels often check rooms after guests leave, but nobody clearly told me to wait 5-10 minutes while they checked. Instead, they suddenly contacted all the security staff by radio right in front of me. Even the front security guard already knew my room number was leaving and needed checking. I’d never had that happen before, even at other Fave hotels around Java Island. It made me feel as if they thought I might steal something. Maybe I took it personally, but it really bothered me, and I’ll think twice before checking in again. Thanks.
